It takes an entire community of people to affect real change, and domestic violence is no different. There are many ways to get involved. You can volunteer, take action, or simply donate. Learn more about how you can help here. Or, if you’re interested in discussing a specific idea or project you think could help support our efforts at NNADV, please contact us.
Whether you work with domestic violence victims, have encountered domestic violence yourself, or just want to help those struggling with domestic violence and its effects, there are many ways to take action to end domestic violence in Nevada.
Talk to Your Legislators: Let elected officials know how important this issue is for our communities and find out what they are doing to address the issue. To learn more about contacting your legislator, visit our public policy page
Get Involved: Attend local events, support your community’s domestic violence advocacy organizations, become a volunteer, send letters or emails to your local media; support efforts to end domestic violence in whatever ways you see possible.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Nevada Network Against Domestic Violence relies partially on donations from our community to continue our work in domestic violence education and advocacy. Your donation will help us continue to support Nevada’s direct-service organizations, educate Nevadans on issues of domestic violence, and create positive change for all those in our state affected by domestic violence. Ongoing financial support is crucial as we continue the life-saving work of domestic violence advocacy. (Membership contributions are not tax-deductible; general donations may be tax-deductible under federal law.)
We are always looking for willing and able volunteers. If you’re interested in volunteering with us, or just want to learn more about how you can help, please fill out the volunteer form.
